We leave from your hotel in a van or track on the way to Katarpe Valley, from there we start our hike, untill we reach an old Tunel (1930), after crossing it, we take a steep path uphill to reach the top of The Salt Mountain Range, where it is posible to contemplate all of the valley of San Pedro de Atacama with a panoramic view of The Andes and Domeyko Mountain ranges. We keep hiking until it is time to descend via a sand dune till we arrive to an open field, taking a road with many bends to the entrance of Death Valley, where our van will be waiting for us, to drive back to San Pedro.
