Enjoy Patagonia 8 Days

Day 1 Transfer Punta Arenas Airport  to Puerto Natales

Our guide will be waiting for you at Punta Arenas Airport, after three hours driving through the Patagonian Pampa, we arrive to Puerto Natales, lodging in Puerto Natales, dinner and meeeting to discuss the trip program.

Day 2 Sailing to Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers

After one hour sailing we see Cormorains, sea lions, cliffs and cascades. We will be sailing close to Balmaceda Glacier.  After enjoying and watching this amazing view from th ship, we will continue sailing toward Serrano Glacier, here we will walk to the base of the glacier, and after crossing through a native forest, reaching the shore of the small lagoon full of icebergs, we then will arrive to our destination.  After a photo session and having enjoyed this beautiful view we will go back to the ship to keep on sailing toward “Estancia Perales” around 1 hour and a half where we will have our lunch, after which we will sail back to Puerto Natales.

Day 3 Trasnfer by bus from office (Eberhard 560) to Puerto Bories Dock.

Program

07:30 a.m Trasnfer by bus from office (Eberhard 560) to Puerto Bories Dock.

08:00 a.m Sailing from Puerto Bories to the Balmaceda & Serrano Glaciers by the Last Hope Fiord. Watching of beautiful mountains, cascades, farms and patagonian avifauna.

11:30 a.m  Visit to Serrano Glacier.

1:00 p.m    Return from Balmaceda y Serrano Glaciers to ”Estancia Turística Perales”.

2:00 p.m Lunch in Estancia Turística Perales (Carbonada, parrillada de cordero, pollo con papas natural, ensaladas, postre, vino o bebida) one of the prettiest farms in Patagonia.

5:00 p.m Arrival to Puerto Natales.

Includes:

Coffe or tea on board.

Entrance fee at Bernardo O’Higgins National Park.

Apetizer: whiskey o natural judge with ice from the glacier.

Hike to Serrano Lagoon.

Lunch in “Estancia Turística Perales”.

Guide English/Spanish speaker on board.

Day 4 Tranfer by van to Torres del Paine National Park

After two hours we arrive to the park, we will beging our trekking toward Ascencio Valley where you can see Ascencio River.  After 1hour and a half we will arrive to El Chileno Refuge where we will take a break, after a quick stop, we will continue through a native forest of Lenga(Beech) tres and after an hour we will reach the glacial morreine. After a break we will keep on our trekking one more hour to the top where we can see the towers appearing from “anywhere”, from the top you can see the majesty of the three Brown/orange granite rock formations with its glacial lake at its feet.

Day 5 Las Torres Refuge to Los Cuernos Refuge

In this jorney we will trekk along Nordenskjold Lake (name in honour a Swedish Geologist wich whose studdies formed an important contribution to the glacial geology world), since there you can watch the hanging glaciers of Almirante Nietto Mount, at the end of this trekking we will reach the base of “los Cuernos”

Day 6 Trek to the French Valley

This is a long jorney about 24kms, we will leave los cuernos refuge crossing through a forest and along Nordenskjold lake arrivin to “el Italiano”, starting our trekk to the French Valley (the most beautiful in the park and one of the unique in the world, you can see various hanging glaciers and hear the ice calvin in severals moments and you can see an anphitheater of granite walls and spires. There are amazing views throughout this trekking and as you walk into the valley it becomes better.  Coming back from French Valley you will watch an extraordinary turquoise color in Peohe Lake (in Tehuelche, the indian language means Hidden lake)

Day 7 Trek to Grey Glacier ans Sailling by Grey Lake

From here we trek to one of the most beautiful glaciers in Southern Ice Field, we will visit the Grey Glacier viewpoint to enjoy and apreciate the amazing view before to take “The Grey II” for sailing Grey Lake so close to the great Grey Glacier,enjoying a pisco sour cup with millenary ice, after 2 hours we will arrive to a small dock, we walk through the beach, crossing through a native forest till a parking, taking our van, driving back to Puerto Natales.

Day 8 Transfer to Punta Arenas Airport, watching prior the Pinguins at Seno Otway.
